Playing the Videos
Recommended Software
VLC Media Player will play most video and audio formats including MP4 and MWV. It is a cross-platform player that works on most operating systems including Windows.
- MP4 videos: Apple iTunes or Apple Quicktime.
- WMV videos: Windows Media® Player, PowerDVD® or RealPlayer®.
- Alternative option: MPlayer.
Downloading the Video Recommended
Downloading the video before playing it will give you the best performance and avoid issues with jerky playback, especially on slower connections.
Most browsers give you the option to save the content of a link by selecting the option to download the content the link points to.
- Windows users: right-click on the link and then left click on:
- Save Target As (Internet Explorer or Opera)
- Save Link As (Firefox)
- Download Linked File (Safari)
- Other browsers will have options with similar wording.
- Mac users (and others with a single mouse button): use keyboard/mouse combinations like:
- Option- or Alt-click Save Link As.
- Control-click Download Link to Disk.
- Control-click Save Link As.
Be sure to save the file in a location where you can find it again such as the desktop.
